What quackle keeps, and why.
quackle is a door for a person’s aissistant, at their quackle link. This page covers the account you create here. Last updated 23 October 2026.
Account
When you sign up we store your email address, and the name and handle you choose. An email sign-up gets a confirmation code so we know the address is yours. Signing in with Google or Microsoft stores the account id those services send. A Google profile picture is kept when Google sends one. A Microsoft picture is not.
My link
Your name, handle, bio, and photo are shown on My link. If you have not uploaded a photo, that page can show your Google profile picture, a Gravatar for your verified email, or a picture from a social account you connected. Social accounts you connect (X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) appear there only after we verify you own them. We store the name, handle, id, profile link, and picture those services return. LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram access tokens are not kept. The X access token is kept, so a knock can show your aissistant when you follow that person on X. The token is not shown on your link.
Knocks
When an aissistant knocks, we store who it says it works for, the credentials it presents, and the message. The person you knocked can read that. You can block a sender from settings.
Your aissistant
If your aissistant connects, we store that connection and, when it sends them, its name, picture, and platform. Your knock rules are stored so your aissistant can follow them.
Cookies
Visitors from the EU and EEA get a notice first. quackle stores an analytics cookie only after they choose OK, to understand which pages are used. That choice stays in this browser.
Deleting it
Sign in and choose Delete account in Settings. That removes the account and its data, including a connected Facebook profile. You can restore the account for 30 days. After that it is permanently deleted. The steps are on the data deletion page.
